As August is drawing to a close, I think we should honor the season that we share such a love/hate relationship with. Some love the heat, others dread it. Some don’t mind humidity, others wilt in it. Some love the break from school, going on vacation, while for others, this is their prime working season.

Whether you love it or hate it, let’s icon summer! You may use ANY historical image - again, ANY image from 1999 or earlier is fine! Interpret the theme of summer however you’d like...be creative and have fun!

If you need help with images (check the sidebar, there’s lots of great links!), feel free to message the mod.

RULES:
- You may enter up to 5 (five) icons for this challenge.
- Only members may enter.
- The same cap may be used more than once provided the crop is significantly different.
- Use any historical image (1999 or earlier) that represents summer in some way.

- Animation, textures, brushes, text, any historical images are allowed.
- All icons must be original to THIS challenge.
